OUR MINISTRIES
Comfort & Care
The Comfort and Care Ministry of the Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church ministers to members of the church who find themselves in crisis such as illness, extended care (shut-ins, elderly in nursing homes,) and the death of a loved one. Our desire is to ensure that members are comforted and encouraged by regularly receiving visitations, cards, and phone calls during times of suffering and need.
Music Ministry
Our Music Department is responsible for providing both vocal and instrumental music for each worship experience. We encourage and uplift the Body of Christ to Praise & Worship the Lord through music.
Church School
Our church school meets weekly to direct spiritual growth through regular bible teaching sessions. We are currently are attending class via tele-conference on Saturday mornings.
Scholarship Committee
Our Scholarship Committee seeks to identify and reward special students that have appropriately met standards of compliance to further their academic education.
